Atlas works in 48+ world languages pivoting through Nepali and English — including Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Filipino, and many more. Every language pair is handled by a native translator in the target language.

Our office is at Anamnagar 29, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal — a short walk from the Anamnagar junction. We accept walk-ins Sunday to Friday, 10:00–18:00. You can also send documents via email or courier; we deliver by email, courier, or in-person pickup.

Yes. Our certified translations are accepted by foreign embassies in Kathmandu (including the Indian Embassy, US Embassy, UK Embassy, Chinese Embassy, Japanese Embassy, Korean Embassy and Gulf country consulates), by universities abroad for admission purposes, and by Nepali courts and government offices. We issue each translation on company letterhead with a signed certificate of accuracy.

Certified translation is signed by the translation company stating the translation is accurate — this is what embassies, universities and most authorities accept in Nepal. Notarized translation adds a separate notary stamp confirming the signature (required by some authorities — your translation is then taken to a licensed notary). Sworn translation is a continental-European concept where a government-appointed translator seals the work — Nepal does not operate a sworn-translator register, so the Nepal equivalent is a certified translation plus notarization when needed.

Yes — these are two of our most common jobs. We translate Nepali citizenship (Nagarikta) and Nepali birth certificates into English (or any of our 48+ languages) using an embassy-ready format. The translation is issued on Atlas letterhead with a signed statement of accuracy and accepted by universities, visa offices and embassies worldwide. Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours.

Yes. We translate SEE, +2, Bachelor's, Master's and PhD transcripts, mark sheets and degree certificates into English, German, French, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and 40+ other languages for universities in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea and elsewhere. We preserve subject codes, grades, and credit hours exactly, and include a certificate of accuracy accepted by Uni-Assist, WES, IQAS and university admissions offices.

Yes — Atlas provides SOP writing, review and translation for study abroad and work visa applications. We work with you to write a personal, university-targeted SOP in English (or the target-country language), and can also translate an existing Nepali or English SOP into 48+ languages when the program requires it.

Yes. Beyond document translation we offer website localization, mobile app localization, video subtitles/dubbing translation, e-commerce product localization and marketing transcreation into Nepali, English and 48+ world languages — handled by native translators in the target language, not machine translation.

Yes. Atlas translations are accepted by embassies in Kathmandu and consulates abroad for visa, admission, employment, family reunification, PR and consular applications. Every translation is on company letterhead with a signed certificate of accuracy, translator name and company stamp — the format embassies require. Atlas itself does not perform notarization, MoFA attestation or apostille — if the embassy requires those, we tell you upfront so you can take the translated document to a licensed notary and then to MoFA yourself.

Yes. Our translations are accepted by universities in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, France and 40+ other countries. We use the exact format required by admissions offices, WES, Uni-Assist, IQAS and ECE credential evaluators. If a specific university requires a particular declaration wording, send us the requirement and we'll match it.

No. Embassies, universities and courts do not accept machine translation for official documents. Even if the wording looks fluent, these tools are prone to name/number/date errors, miss legal nuance, and — critically — cannot issue a certificate of accuracy. Every embassy requires a human translator's signed statement of accuracy on letterhead, which only a professional translation company can provide.

Yes. We translate contracts, court orders, affidavits, power of attorney, witness statements, arbitration documents, judgments and legal agreements between Nepali, English and 48+ other languages. Legal translation is handled by translators with a legal background. The translation itself is suitable for submission in Nepali courts. Atlas does not perform notarization — if the court requires a notarized translation, you will need to take the finished translation to a licensed notary public.

Translation pricing depends on the language pair, document type, word count and turnaround. Short single-page documents (citizenship, birth certificate, marriage certificate, character certificate) start from a fixed per-page rate. Longer documents (transcripts, contracts, medical reports) are priced per word. Rush 24-hour jobs carry a small surcharge. Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours for most single-page documents (citizenship, birth, marriage, transcript, passport). Multi-page and specialist jobs (medical, technical, legal contracts) take 3–5 working days. Rush same-day translation is available for urgent visa/interview deadlines — let us know your deadline and we'll confirm feasibility at quote time.

Yes — same-day rush translation is available for most common documents (citizenship, birth certificate, transcripts, character certificates) if you submit before noon. The fastest way is to WhatsApp or email a scan/photo of your document to [email protected] along with the target language and deadline. We reply within 1 hour with a fixed total price and turnaround. You can also walk into our Anamnagar office with the document and get a quote on the spot.

You have three options: (1) email a scan or clear photo to [email protected], (2) WhatsApp the document to +977 9765979296, or (3) walk in to our Anamnagar 29 office. A clear photo from your phone is usually enough — we'll ask for a better scan only if anything is unreadable.

You get the completed translation as a signed, stamped PDF by email — ready to upload to embassy/visa portals. If you need hard copies (for in-person embassy submission or court filing), you can pick them up at our Anamnagar office or we can courier them anywhere in Nepal or abroad at cost.

It depends on who is asking for the document. Most embassies, universities and visa offices accept our certified translation without extra notarization. A few authorities (some courts, some registry offices, certain PR applications) require an additional notary stamp. Atlas does not perform notarization in-house — we tell you upfront whether you'll likely need it, and you can take the finished translation to any licensed notary public in Kathmandu (notarization of a translated document is a standard same-day service).

No — Atlas does not handle MoFA attestation or apostille. Those are government functions performed only at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal, and the applicant (or a licensed runner) must submit in person. What Atlas provides is the certified translation itself in the format MoFA requires — so when you take the document to MoFA, there is no rejection for translation reasons. For the MoFA submission step, please visit the Ministry directly or use a dedicated document-runner service.

Every translation is handled by a native translator in the target language, reviewed by a second translator, and signed off by the team lead before it leaves the office. We work with a vetted panel of native translators across all 48+ languages — not machine translation, not uncertified freelancers.

We have a free-revision policy. If you spot any error — a name spelling, date, grade, clause — email us and we issue a corrected signed version at no extra cost, usually within the same day. Translation accuracy is our reputation and we back every document with this guarantee.

When you send the document, please include (a) the exact spelling of your name as it appears on your passport (especially for passport-less documents like citizenship), (b) the spelling you want used for place names, and (c) any Nepali dates you want shown in both BS and AD. We match your passport spelling by default — this is what embassies cross-check.

Yes. We run multi-translator team projects for corporate annual reports, audit reports, patent filings, clinical trial documents, technical manuals, software localization and website localization. For projects over ~10,000 words we assign a project manager, build a project-specific glossary, and deliver in phases so you can review as we go.
